Ballantines Fully Matured

Power To The People!: Cafe Tacuba in

Since visited our country with the acclaimed "Re" (1994) shows that Café Tacuba are worth mentioning. And it was more than deserved the chance last night of Wednesday 28 May, more than we saw no wrong (well) since that unfortunate tour with Prisoners in late 2003 (missed by many people). The excuse the greater the imperative "Sino" (2007) cut an album of intimate, with lyrics of soul-searching in times of confusion and change in stages. So he began to echo through the speakers in a nearly full theater Caupolicán with "Remain" and "I have everything", the first cuts on the disc and was chanted by the attacks that took care not to keep the singles repeated a thousand times in the local radio stations. With the euphoria with "Eo", "Zero and One" and "locomotive", expected a night of those with a busy public who sometimes sang in unison with Ruben Albarran (or Cosme, El Gallo Gass, Elfego Buendía Ixxo Xoo or as he calls himself now) and always impeccable performances Joselo, Meme and more Quique accompanying drummer from a few years ago. A pass for his career of 19 years with tours of their new album were well received by those who knew their letters, as opposed to the memories as "Flowers", "The end of childhood" or "ungrateful" ( that many took as a way to release pressures of the day apparently), ended the first with "Chica Banda" with over 12 girls dancing on stage at the invitation of the band, except for a fan who embraced fervorizado Albarran and left on the floor, without removing the smile on his face.
A night energy could not be so. The return to "Eres" and (the ordered all night) "Dance and Lounge" to herald the end ... but no one was tired yet, and the band wanted to keep his word to play until the candles do not burn, and last but not least, accepted songs that the audience shouted out loud, extending the show for over an hour more, with songs like "The Metro", "Cyclone," "The dagger and heart" to "space" thanks to the cries against the threat of ending the concert. Perhaps waiting for Álvaro Henríquez was near there (in the Municipal Theatre), but still made their unrequited homage to "Drop" and "Tirate", the latter in one of the most intimate moments with a flawless version of "Tonight."
An unforgettable concert that ended after nearly 3 hour show with the classic Leo Dan, "How I miss you my love" with a Mexican Postal dancing, smiling to the Chilean public wanted, which was what he deserved and much more (a total of 31 songs came that night!). Does anyone remember the true meaning of a concert?: The musicians are the focus and constant contact with their songs, something you see very little in those days. Last night was one of those memorable shows where you are part of the show and not something like watch a DVD ... Raising the registration
