Esperanto en Sant Pau d'Ordal

Oni povas promeni tra Zamenhof-stratoj en grandaj urboj, kiel Barcelono , Amsterdamo, Krakovo aŭ Tel-Avivo, kaj ekzistas multaj aliaj vojoj en malgrandaj urboj kaj vilaĝoj nomitaj laŭ la iniciatinto de la internacia lingvo. Tamen, eble estas surprizo trovi la nomon de Zamenhof en Sant Pau d'Ordal. Tiel malgranda, kiel bela vilaĝeto estas fakte parto de la komunumo de Subirats, en la kataluna vin-produkta komarko Penedès.

La laŭdindulo de tiu raraĵo estis Luis Hernández Yzal (1917-2002). Li ekkonis la internacian lingvon en 1956 pere de la bicikloriparisto de la vilaĝo, la sinjoro Sans («Li estis malnova esperantisto, kiu ankoraŭ konis Zamenhof»). Jaroj poste, en 1963, li vizitis la hispanan esperantistan kongreson en Barcelono kaj «iĝis konvinkita» pri la verda movado.

Nur monatoj poste, la 19-an de februaro 1964, Ricardo Sans kaj Lluís Hernández estis inter la kvardeko de iniciatintoj de esperanta grupo  en Can Cartró (municipo de Subirats).

En 1966, la madrida ĵurnalo ABC jam parolis pri la malfermo de esperanta muzeo kaj ĝi estis oficiale inaŭgurita la 5-an de majo 1968, okaze de la 10-a Barcelon-Provinca Esperantista Renkontiĝo en Sant Pau d'Ordal. En 1974 Hernández Yzal translokis la kolekton al nova domo apud sia apoteko.
En 1987 Hernández Yzal, Ana Molera (filino de la kolektanto Ramon Molera ) kaj la hungara Árpád Máthé fondis Rondo Takács (honore al József Takács ), kiu klopodis por inventari ĉiujn esperantajn gazetojn.
Hernández Yzal, honora membro de UEA, forpasis la 24-an de februaron 2002.
Amics del Museu d'Esperanto de Subirats (Amikoj de la Esperanta Muzeo de Subirats) zorgas nun por transformi la E-muzeon en publikan bibliotekon specialigota en esperanto.
